The new Genova Coconut Point project is finally underway in Estero, where ground was just broken for the first development planned for Village Center. Located at the southwest corner of Via Coconut Point and Corkscrew Road, this unique development will eventually include around 200 residential units, set to be finished in 2018. The homes of Genova Coconut Point will be priced from the high $200,000s to the low $500,000s.
The individual units come in a variety of floor plans, ranging from two- to four-bedrooms, plus at least two-baths and a two-car garage. Square footage starts at around 1,300 with some homes offering upwards of 2,200 square feet of living space. Common features of the homes include the high ceilings, gourmet kitchens complete with granite countertops, plus a roman tub and walk-in shower in the baths.
With Mediterranean-style influence, the entire development, when completed, will include six u-shaped buildings, each three stories high. The plans also call for an interior lake and a center courtyard to anchor the entire design of the development.
As well, plans call for the inclusion of private outdoor living space. Other extras of the community include the brick-paver streets and the solid construction of the homes. Additionally, Genova Coconut Point is set to offer a clubhouse with an aerobic studio and fitness center, plus an indoor lap pool and resort-style, outdoor swimming pool. The development will also offer bocce ball courts and a 24-hour manned gatehouse.
Within a short distance of just about everything in Southwest Florida, Genova Coconut Point is simply a few minutes away from destinations such as Germain Arena, the shops of Coconut Point Mall and sits comfortably close to Florida Gulf Coast University. As well, Genova is an easy commute from I-75, making it simple to get around the entire area, from the shops and attractions to the fabulous beaches.
