Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida is a sprawling 342 acres of natural land.  The south end is home to a preserve---Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park---containing many animal species where visitors can enjoy the park’s natural setting.  The natural habitat houses seat turtles; sand dunes; gopher tortoise; estuaries where fresh and salt water meet; tropical coastal plants; tidal creeks and swamps; and many variety of fish species, popular for fishermen to enjoy.  The Park Rangers offer a long list of activities and educational programs, including guided canoe trips to see turtles and wading birds.
