According to a just released 2018 North America Airport Satisfaction Study from J.D. Power, RSW is tops when it comes to passenger satisfaction. The airport takes the overall number three spot for the category of medium airports.
RSW received a score of 810 for the year, also ranking it the very best for the entire State of Florida in traveler satisfaction. The score additionally puts it higher than average scores in all three different airport categories.
This is the 13th year for the study, which takes a look at overall traveler satisfaction with airports across North America. Broken up into the categories of mega, large and medium-sized airports, the study looks at satisfaction with baggage claim and baggage check, security check, terminal facilities, plus retail, beverage and food. In addition, it also looks at satisfaction when it comes to actual terminal facilities and accessibility.
The latest ranking comes on the heels of another survey, this one from Money Magazine. The magazine looked at 80 of the busiest commercial airports in the country, and then ranked them by taking into account a number of different customer experience scores.
